With Love since 2008
FSU GAU
FSU GAU has been in existence since 2008. We won our first contract in 2009.
Since our first contract was negotiated in 2009, we have
-
increased the minimum stipend repeatedly,
-
secured across-the-board performance raises,
-
lowered health insurance rates,
-
secured Family Medical Leave for all GAs
The precursor to FSU-GAU was a grad student organization without bargaining power, known as Graduate Students United, which maintained a presence on FSU's campus as early as 1991.
